Prof. (Dr.) B.B.S. Parihar is presently the Principal of “Jawahar Lal Nehru PG College, Etah”. He has joined as the Principal of this College on 30th October, 2021. Prior to this, Prof. (Dr.) Parihar has been the Director of “Raja Balwant Singh Management Technical Campus, Agra”. He started his academic career as a Lecturer of Management at Faculty of Management & Computer Application, R.B.S. College, Agra (Presently, R.B.S. Mangement Technical Campus, Agra) in July, 2000. Later on, he became Reader, Associate Professor, HOD, Professor, Dean and finally the Director of the institute in December, 2016; and continued as the Director till 29th October, 2021. Overall, he possesses a 22-year long academic experience. Marketing Management, Consumer Behaviour, Retail Management, Marketing Research, Research Methodology and Business Statistics have been the areas of his teaching and research interests.
Prof. Parihar has done his Ph.D. in Management from Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University, Agra. Prior to that he did his M.B.A. from G.G. Central University, Bilaspur and M.Sc. (Statistics) from St. John’s College, Agra. He also holds a Masters Degree in Economics from Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University, Agra.
So far, he has published 23 Research Papers in the Journals of National and International repute and has also presented 16 Research Papers in various National and International Conferences organized by prominent management institutes and Universities of the country including IIMs & IITs. He has chaired technical sessions and has also delivered Invited Talks in 15 National Conferences/ Workshops and also has the successful organization / coordination of 17 Workshops/ Conferences/ FDPs to his credit.
Prof. Parihar is presently a member of the Executive Council (EC) and Academic Council (AC) both, of Raja Mahendra Pratap Singh State University, Aligarh. He is on the Board of Studies (Management / Business Administration) of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow and MS Brij University, Bharatpur. At present, he is also the Vice-President, “Bhartiya Sikshan Mandal (Braj Prant)” ; Secretary, “The Rao Krishna Pal Singh Students’ Aid Society, Agra” ; Life Member, “Society of Economics and Development, Amritsar” and Life Member, “Society of Human Resource and Innovation, Agra”.
Prof. Parihar has been the Chairman, “Computer Society of India, Agra Chapter” for two consecutive years, 2017-18 & 2018-19. In recognition of his significant contribution to the CSI activities, “Chapter Patron Award (2017-19)” &“Significant Contribution Award (2017-19)” were conferred upon him. Moreover, “Kalam Ke Sipahi – Award of Excellence for the Exemplary Contribution in the Field of Education” has also been conferred upon him by the Newspapers Association of India.
